Callie and I worked together in my time at Turner. She was my manager and we spent a lot of time brainstorming and defining new business paths for success.
I inspired her as she was on her way out to thinking larger than she could ever imagine. I love to coach people, whether they want it or not. Sometimes it just happens. Callie left the Atlanta area for a new role at Nike in Oregon and found time to launch a van refurbishment company named Wolf Wagons.

"Why you gotta be so extra all the time Will?"
In 2019 I was working at Bleacher Report Live. Trent was a Senior Product Manager on our team.
I can be... well... pretty high energy some times and Trent always calls it like he sees it. I love to put this quote on my resume just to see if people are actually reading. When Trent poached me to join the CNN+ team in 2021 he got a lot of questions from people who didn't know we worked together in the past. "You know this guy has a quote from you on his resume?!" He and I laugh about it regularly.

"Unflappable"
As the Director of the Agile Center of Excellence for IHG around 2016, you better believe Mike Caddell took some crap from people. I keep it chill. And game respects game.

"That's the best live demo I've even been part of."
Rob co-founded and was CEO of Kabbage, Inc. He also co-founder a startup I was working for named Drum Technologies. We lauched the Scout App in 2020 and proceeded to do what start ups do; try to get users, try to get money.
In 2020, we had an investor day and as head of product I was on point for the live product demo. And, I had a lot of fun doing it. His quote above was the first thing out of his mouth in our post-meeting round up. It's a compliment I look back on when I need a little boost of confidence.

You always write everything so clearly, so everyone can understand it.
People love my emails and powerpoints. Ally is a huge proponent of them.
I spend considerable time working on my communication, because I'm a first believer that communciation is everything when it comes to product management. It's not a complicated method. I write down everything I can think of, then I consider what people really want or need to know, and then I brutally chop everything else. Everywhere I go, communications pop up around the company that starts to look a lot like my standards. It's fun to watch.
